A New Reality TV Show for GMAPinoyTv Made in Toronto
An agreement has been inked between GMA International and Deo Moreno of Mstudio Media to co-produce a reality TV series that will be filmed right here in Greater Toronto area. The show happens at a place that has really become a tambayan for aspiring artist willing to sacrifice so much while on their quest of making it big in Canada. The show will be seen on GMA PinoyTV with an estimated of 200,000 subscribers worldwide equivalent to 1.8 million viewers which is promising to any artist looking for global exposure.
The premise of this reality TV series is centered on a place called “BarKada” which is a restaurant bar setting that also functions as a recording studio. The show will follow the owner as he goes about doing his business while documenting the lives of the staff and artist alike that comes to this place called BarKada. Deo says, “I am constantly looking for production crew in various capacity as well as holding auditions for the show. It’s great because at the same time, the process itself becomes part of the show.” The series will feature performances from local bands and artists in which a winner will be chosen at the end of the season.
